Bubblius' Beginning

Bubblius trotted to the beach, it had been a nice day, now the sun was setting, and the Krabby were blowing their bubbles.

"Ahh, so peaceful... So beautiful...." he said, sitting down, letting the slight waves tickle his feet, he looked around, stroking the sand "I can why dad likes the beach so much now..."

Bubblius got up, and trotted to the big rock, climbing up it, and laying on top of the big rock, slowly but surely drifting off.

Shilo had wandered down from the mountain. Her father knew how to surf, and so she was determined to learn too, even being normally weak against water. She walked along on her little feet until she saw what looked like a Piplup dead on the slab of rock before her.

Shilo ran up best she could, then down at the Piplup. It was obvious he was just asleep now, being close enough to see him breathing. The slab o rock began to heat up quickly though, with Shilo standing on it. Her hot feet were heating it to a scorching temperature! Not that Shilo would notice though, being used to the heat.

Bubblius woke with a shock

"BbbbbWOWOOOOOOOOOOOOWW!" he said, he jumped up and wriggled in the air, rushing towards the sea, jumping into it, a whole lot of steam came from his back

"I-I think my back might be burnt...." he said, touching it, twitching, as it hurt quite a bit "Owwwww...." he climbed out the water, he was calm, he didn't really like shouting or yelling, or arguing for that matter "Err... Hot feet ya got there....." he said, he could rub his back now, it still twinged a bit, but rubbing it seemed to calm the pain down.

"Oh?" Shilo said, looking down at her feet, lifting one and examining it before putting it back down and doing the same with the other. "Guess I forgot about that..." Shilo said, hopping down off the rock and onto the sandy beach.

"I'm used to living around others like me, so I didn't really think anything of it. Sorry," she apologized half heartedly, walking over to a piece of driftwood and examining it. "Maybe if I use this...then I could surf better..." she mumbled, trying to think of a way to raise her water resistance without it bothering too much.

"Oh, you want to surf?" Bubblius said, he couldn't help but overhear "Are you sure that's a good idea with... Well, since your a fire type?" his back has stopped twinging now, and he looked the driftwood

"My family can surf, it just takes a lot of practice...it's a lot easier when humans use those machines, but I'm sure I can do it by myself..." Shilo said, picking up the driftwood and making her way to the shore line. It was true that Charanitar could learn surf, but it was unheard of for a Charvitar to learn it! Perhaps Shilo was just being a bit too stubborn for her own good this time.

"Huh? No! Wwwwwaiiitt!" Bubblius said, running after her "Are you... Completely sure, you know you could probably... Well, drown if you fall off that wood..."

He looked at the old wood, it had holes in it!

"Why don't I see if my dad can teach us to surf, that wood doesn't look to safe... Plus my dad has these big things called "surfboards" or something"

A big wave crashed nto the shore, spraying all over the place

"Plus it looks really dangerous..."

The krabby had stopped blowing bubbles, since the wind had picked up, Bubblius shivered

You can tell it's autumn... he thought to himself

Shilo rolled her eyes, then shivered at the spray of water over her. She stumbled back a few steps from the shore line. "Ugh...stupid typing..." she muttered under her breath. "I wouldn't drown!" she said angrily afterward, looking to the Piplup. "I mean..." she said a bit quieter, then looked out to the vast body of water. She wasn't really sure, only determined. She guessed she was relying on that determination to carry her through all her situations. She hadn't really thought over what might happen if she fell in. After all, her body was very dense, and her arms far too little to swim...

Bubblius stepped back a bit, and rubbed his arm when Shilo shouted Ugh, I'm way to soft... he thought to himself

"So... Should I call my dad then?" bubblius said,, getting his modern phone out, and searching through it, before a Murkrow swooped down and stole it as fast as lightning. "HUH?!" BUbblius said, looking at his hands, which once contained the phone "Hey! Give it backk!" he said, he huffed, suddenly a long tongue came out and licked him, it was a Gastly, which flew next to the Murkrow

Bubblius had slobber all on his cheek. "Eew! That's disgusting... And gimme my phone back!"

"Or what?" The Murkrow said back tauntingly

"Or.... Errr...." Bubblius said, gulping.

"Heh, heh, wimps" the Gastly said "Let's go"

The Murkrow and Gastly flew (and levitated) to the beach cave

"Hey! Get back here!" he said running up to the cave entrance, but stopping in front of it. He looked at the many menacing eyes in the cave, and gulped again

Oh no... A mystery dungeon... My mom said to never go in there... he sighed, looking inside.

"H-hello?" he said Hello hello hello hello... the cave said back "My dad's gonna kill me..." Bubblius said, sitting on the sand.

Shilo snarled at the Gastly and Murkrow. She hated Pokemon who acted tough. When they flew away she instantly began running after them. "Get back here you wimps, I can take you BOTH on!" she shouted, running right past Bubblius and into the cave.

"Wait! Erm, you!" Bubblius said, he stood there for a second a bit intimidated by the cave, before he ran in after her, the Gastly and Murkrow easily outran Shilo, disappearing to the ground floor. "Wait! We *huff* gotta *puff* get out of here!" Bubblius said, catching up with her "This place is danger- OOF!" a team of Shellos blocked their way "Heh! Look at them three!" One said tauntingly "I could take on that wimp of a Piplup!" the one on the left said "Leave that weird fire thingymabob to me!" the one in the middle said, he was pretty much the leader of the group, and the stupidist one.

"Err..." Piplup said, backing away a bit "L-let us past!" he said, getting some mud off the ground and slapping it in their faces.

The shellos that aimed for Shilo used mud-slap too.

Shilo crossed her arms, taking only normal damage thanks to her part ground-typing. "Oh yeah you little punks?" Shilo said angrily. "Get outta my way!" she yelled before glowing light blue, then rushing toward the middle Shellos, hoping to slam into him with Dragon Rush!

(Ground to a ground type is x1 effective, so it would be 2x effective on Shilo)

The middle Shellos got a bit worried, not actually thinking everything through

"Oohh...." he was smashed out, the two other Shellos' running (well, sliming) away.

"Ohh...." Bubblius said, he looked at Shilo, amazeed at her ability early on, he looked to his left "Aha! the stair's!" he ran over to them, going down them

[okay, so she took more damage, either way lol]

Shilo nodded, huffing a bit as the Shellos slimed away. "Yeah, that's what you get when you mess with me!" She could thank her father for that ability, having earned the move through breeding, not to mention fighting with her brothers all the time.

She looked over to Bubblius who'd made his way to the stairwell. "Hey, wait up!" she said, chasing after him down he stairs as well. Shilo rubbed her arm a bit, the mud slap had hurt her a bit, but she wasn't going to complain about it.

Bubblius caught a glimpse of Shilo rubbing her arm, and when they got to the second floor, Bubblius looked around, finding an oran berry "Here, have this" he said, smiling at her, he was grateful for her help, she seemed quite powerful.

A Corsola skipped across the floor, she had an orb in her hands, and was hummin happily, before a Kabuto and Shellder came and threatened her

"Heh! Giv us ya orb!" Shellder said, quite badly worded

"Yeah! Heh heh! Giv us ya, err, thingy, err"

"Orb!"

"Yeah"

"No!" the Corsola said, putting it behind her back

"Listen to wat da boss sez!" Kabuto said, getting angry

"Yeah! lizten to meh!" Shellder intrupted

"No, I iz deh boss!"

"Pff, fyne,"

Bubblius had to stop himself at laughing at his badly worded language.

"We gotta help her..." Bubblius whispered to Shilo

Shilo ate the berry, feeling better afterward. She then nodded, scowling at the Kabuto and Shellder. She couldn't stand idiots. "Hey you morons! Get out of here before I pummel you into the ground!" she growled, walking in front of Corsola, then taking a fighting stance.

Bubblius sighed, chuckling, he knew her attitude would one day get her in huge trouble...

"Pff, look't da gurl!"

"Ya! Da gurlll!" they taunted, chuckling, Kabuto used scratch on Shilo, the Shellder using Clamp

"Oh oh!" Bubblis knew Shilo would be x4 effected by the clamp so ran forward fast, jumping in front of her, taking the clamp on his left arm (I think, or fin or whatever...) "Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-ow!" Bubblius shouted, he got angry, summoning his strength using a hydro pump on Shellder!

Shillo growled at the taunting, and took the scratch attack across her face. "You'll pay for that!" She barked out, her claws turning steel sharp before slashing at the Kabutops with a Metal Claw attack.

"HIYARO!!!" Voice was come from alone Palm into the Beach. From there was Jumped a Sneasel! When he landed said.

" I would Help us...." He begined to atack "Let's rock!" He used Ice Punch on the Kabuto... Some time later he used Pursuit in to the Shelder.

"Oh I'm Forgot. My name is Ricky."

"Huh? Oh? Thanks.. I think..."

Both attacks hit the Kabuto "Yow dat urt girlies! You'll pay!" Kabuto scratched Bubblius across the face "YOW!" his face hit the floor

Bubblius got angry "You.... GRAA!" Another Hydro pump sent the Kabuto flying, smashing into the wall, Shellder had fainted from the hydro pump before.

Shilo ran after the Kabuto, ready for another Metal Claw attack. "Get back here!"

Kabuto was pretty much k.o'd as soon as the attack hit

Bubblius had quite abit of his energy drained from the battle, and panted a bit, Hydropump's always took ALOT out of him.

"No thank's.... " He's going sit near water.... "It's strange" He said to Bublius and Shilo. "But I'm first time seen pokemon's like you here... Meybe I'm Too lot been in the Forest's... I know what you want said.... But I'm not Typical Sneasel wich Hiden on the Caves.... "Stand Up... And look at the Bublius Face " I can travel with ya? I feel alone... Becouse I've been alone...."

Shilo adjusted her shoulder, shaking off her hand. She huffed at the fainted Kabuto, then turned away. "We still gotta find that Murkrow and Gastly..." Shilo said, heading for the next flight of stairs.

"Well, I am a city Piplup, if you can call treasure town a 'city', and... We're a team..?" Once he thought about it, they were kind of a mini team, they seemed to be a good combination, he smiled "S-sure, I guess..." Bubblius looked at Shilo

"Oh, yeah, c'mon Ricky" Bubblius said, running to catch up with Shio
